Open Command Prompt as Administrator, and once there, type in the following and press Enter:
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
This starts the Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM) tool, which uses Windows Update to provide the files that are required to fix corruptions if they exist.
Once that's complete, on a new line in Command Prompt, type in the following and press Enter:
sfc /scannow
The sfc /scannow command will scan all protected system files, and replace corrupted files as needed.
